EKpass Completes Overhead Crane Operator Training for Special Areas Board

EKpass completed overhead crane operator training in January of this year. Since the announcement of being awarded a multi-year contract for the provision of heavy equipment operator training as well as other training and related services with the Special Areas Board in Alberta; EKpass has been developing and delivering multiple training programs. Under this contract EKpass has created and delivered a wide variety of training programs including heavy equipment operator training for multiple machine types as used by Special Areas Board.

 

The Special Areas is a rural municipality in Southeastern Alberta. Its boundaries outline over 5 million acres of land and are home to almost 5000 residents. The Special Areas is a unique type of municipality, administered by a Board of three members appointed by Lieutenant Governor in Council. In addition to the Board, an advisory council of 13 is elected in accordance with the Local Authorities Election Act and represents the residents of the three Special Areas.
