Urban & Rural Heavy Equipment Operator Training and Certificate Programs

Our award-winning training is unique in the industry. We tailor your training to meet your specific needs. We train on all equipment types, and we include information specific to your equipment, right down to the make, model, and serial number.

Training effectiveness is measured by the degree of retained knowledge. Operators who have experienced EKpass training have been shown to have significant knowledge retention, in part because they have a high perceived value of the training.

Training begins in the classroom where the fundamentals are covered, including safety, basic maintenance, operating  techniques, and advanced skills.

The bulk of our training is an effective and engaging hands-on component, conducted by an EKpass seasoned veteran instructor.

Operator training is provided at your location, using the equipment that trainees will be operating. Not only can

production continue during training, but the operators also learn in their actual work environment!

We use proven knowledge-testing mechanisms,

including practical skills assessments where the operator

is assessed while actually operating.

WEB BASED TRAINING

EKpass offers e-learning CBT and WBT solutions in addition to our highly effective and successful hands-on training.

Our Web Based courses are geared towards corporate and individual students looking to update and refresh their skills or to get a foot in the door and stand out from the competition.

Certificates are provided to all students who successfully complete our WBT courses.

All of our e-learning programs are developed by in-house subject matter experts experienced in developing and delivering training programs worldwide. These experts are supported by a full development team: instructional designers, graphic designers, multimedia programmers, 3D animators, professional narrators, and sound engineers. The content comes in part from the extensive EKpass library of proprietary electronic, audio visual and print material.

As with our hands-on training, this content can be customized down to the make, model, and other machine-specific data as required. Client-specific data (images, video, policies, procedures, etc.) can be incorporated into the programs, so the “look and feel” as well as the content can be tailored for a specific site.

Custom content can be created as well, such as high-resolution digital video, or highly compressed video/audio sequences for CD/DVD full screen playback without dedicated hardware.

Once complete, training content can be updated as required to reflect changes in your operation (policies and procedures) or your equipment’s manufacturer (makes and models).
